5^th International Conference on Hospitality and Tourism Management 2017 organized by The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM) Sri Lanka in collaboration with Uva Wellassa University, Sri Lanka , Centre of Excellence in MICE and Business Events Industry partner (CEMBEI) and Ministry of Tourism Development and Christian Religious Affairs , Sri Lanka was held on the 17^th and 18^th of October in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

ICOHT 2017 was held under the theme “Tourism & Hospitality around the World : Industry – academia collaborations, Innovations and the Future”, and was chaired by Dr. Chandana (Chandi) Jayawardena (President – Chandi J. Associates Inc. Consulting, Canada, International Ambassador & Past President – Institute of Hospitality (HCIMA), UK) and Prof. Sarath Kotagama (Professor of Environmental Science, Department of Zoology,University of Colombo, Sri Lanka)

The opening remarks of ICOHT 2017 were made by Conference Co – Chairs Dr. Chandana (Chandi) Jayawardena, Prof. Sarath Kotagama and Mr. Isanka P. Gamage (Managing Director, The International Institute of Knowledge Management).

The highlight of the inauguration of ICOHT 2017 was the keynote address by Richard Veal

Managing Director and Co-founder of “New Mind tellUs”, United Kingdom on “Destination Management Organizations and the Digital Landscape”

All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference abstract book with ISBN. All full papers will be accepted through a double blind reviewed process and will be published electronically with ISSN in proceedings with a DOI Number (DOI prefix: 10.17501).

We will submit the proceedings to be indexed in the Thomson Reuters, SCOPUS, Mendeley, Google Scholar and CiteULike for possible Indexing.

Journal Publications

Papers presented (oral presentations, virtual presentations and poster presentations) in the conference being considered for possible publications in following journals. Best selected full papers will be published for free of charge.
